Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your booking of, and use of, the studios and services of Melrose Podcasts (“Melrose Podcasts,” “we,” “us”) in Los Angeles, New York, and Austin, and your use of melrosepodcasts.com. By booking a session or using this site, you agree to these Terms.

Booking & payment

Bookings and payments are handled through our booking partner, WhereToPodcast, with card payments processed by Stripe. A session is only confirmed once it is booked and paid for through the booking calendar on our site — we cannot hold a date or time otherwise. Prices, packages, add-ons, and applicable sales tax are shown in the booking calendar at checkout.

Cancellations, reschedules & no-shows

We operate a strict 24-hour cancellation and reschedule policy:

  • Cancel or reschedule more than 24 hours before your start time and you may do so without penalty (booking-platform terms apply).
  • Cancel within 24 hours of your start time and you are charged for the hours booked.
  • No-shows, or cancellations after your start time, are charged the full amount and cannot be refunded or rescheduled.
  • Paid add-ons (such as editing) that have not yet been performed are refunded.

This policy applies regardless of how often you book or the reason for the change.

Session length & overtime

Please arrive on time; your session runs for the time you booked. We are fairly lenient, but if you run more than 20 minutes past your scheduled end time we begin charging per half hour. We may end your session a little early if another booking follows yours.

Your content & recordings

You own the audio and video recorded during your session. We deliver your files via a download link (or to a drive you bring) and keep them on our delivery storage for a limited time — around 30 days — after which they may be removed, so please download them promptly. We are not responsible for files lost after this period.

Studio use & conduct

Our sets are set for four people at the table with room for two more off-camera; they are not built for large crews. Furniture and equipment are permanent and may not be moved. You are welcome to bring small items, signage, and mic flags within reason. No pets are allowed except service animals as defined by the ADA. You agree to treat the space, equipment, and staff with care and to follow building rules; you are responsible for any damage caused by you or your guests.

Tours

Studio tours are available by appointment, including a free 15-minute tour bookable through the calendar. Tours are subject to availability.

Use of this website

You agree not to misuse the site, interfere with its operation, or attempt to access it in any unauthorized way. Content on this site is owned by Melrose Podcasts or its licensors and may not be reproduced without permission.

Disclaimers & limitation of liability

We work hard to deliver a great session, but our services and this site are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Melrose Podcasts is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim relating to a booking will not exceed the amount you paid for that booking.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will revise the “last updated” date above when we do, and your continued use of our services means you accept the updated Terms.
