This Privacy Policy explains how Melrose Podcasts (“Melrose Podcasts,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you visit melrosepodcasts.com, book a session, take a studio tour, or otherwise interact with our studios in Los Angeles, New York, and Austin.

Information we collect

  • Booking & contact details — your name, email, phone number, and session details when you book, request a tour, or contact us.
  • Payment information — payments are processed by our booking partner, WhereToPodcast, and its payment processor, Stripe. We do not see or store your full card number.
  • Your recordings & files — the audio and video produced during your session, which we deliver to you.
  • Usage data — basic, standard information your browser sends (such as device and general location) and aggregate analytics about how the site is used.

How we use your information

  • To schedule, manage, and deliver your bookings, tours, and recordings.
  • To respond to your inquiries and provide customer support.
  • To send booking-related communications (confirmations, reminders, file delivery).
  • To operate, secure, and improve our website and studios.

How your files are handled

Recordings are typically delivered via a download link and kept for a limited time (around 30 days) before being removed from our delivery storage, so please download your files promptly. Bring your own drive if you’d like a copy on the spot.

Booking, payments & embedded services

Booking and pricing on our location pages are powered by our booking partner, WhereToPodcast (with payments via Stripe), embedded on this site to show availability and take payment. Our contact page embeds Google Maps, and some pages embed YouTube video players. When you interact with these embedded services, they may collect information and set their own cookies under their own privacy policies, which we encourage you to review.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with: our booking and payment providers to complete your booking; service providers that help us operate (e.g., email and hosting); and where required by law or to protect our rights.

Cookies & analytics

We use Google Analytics (provided by Google) and Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand aggregate site usage and performance. Google Analytics runs with Consent Mode enabled: analytics and advertising storage are denied by default, advertising signals and personalization are disabled, and Google may receive cookieless measurement pings. We do not load Google Analytics when your browser sends a supported Global Privacy Control opt-out signal. Cloudflare Web Analytics collects limited performance and visit information without using cookies to identify individual visitors. The WhereToPodcast booking calendar and YouTube players may set their own cookies when loaded or used. You can control or block cookies through your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics using the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Data retention

We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide our services and meet legal, accounting, or reporting requirements, then delete or anonymize it.

Your choices & rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and you can opt out of non-essential communications at any time. To make a request, email us at Info@MelrosePodcasts.com.

Your California privacy rights (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (as amended by the CPRA) gives you the right to know what personal information we collect, to request access to or deletion of it, to correct it, and to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.

Categories of personal information we collect: identifiers (name, email, phone); commercial information (bookings and purchases); internet and usage activity (analytics data); audio and visual information (your recordings); and approximate geolocation. We collect this directly from you and through analytics, and disclose it to our booking, payment, hosting, and analytics providers for the purposes described above.

Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information. We do not sell your personal information for money. We do use Google Analytics, which under California law may be considered a “sharing” of online identifiers for analytics. We honor supported Global Privacy Control signals by not loading Google Analytics. You may also use the Google Analytics opt-out add-on linked above or email us, and we will honor your request.

Children’s privacy

Our services are intended for adults and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We’ll revise the “last updated” date above when we do.
