What an editing hour covers
One hour of focused post-production.
About 90% of podcast episodes can be completed in one editing hour. Episodes with extensive notes, removals, graphics or revisions can take longer.

If the requested work will require another hour, our editor will notify you before continuing. Additional time is sold in whole-hour increments.
The process
From recording to finished episode.
Clear expectations make for a faster edit. Send notes and materials promptly so the delivery clock stays on track.

Record anywhere
We can edit sessions recorded at Melrose or anywhere else. Outside clients can transfer their footage and audio however they prefer.
- 02
Send your direction
Share removals, titles, graphics, music and other notes. We can also source music, with that research counting toward the editing hour.

We edit
Your editor works through the requested changes and lets you know before the project needs another hour.
- 04
Receive your episode
We deliver one finished 4K H.264 video. A finished audio-only version is included upon request.
Turnaround
72 hours standard.
24 hours expedited.
Standard edits are delivered within 72 clock hours of the recording session ending, including weekends. Expedited 24-hour delivery is always available for an additional $100.
The expedited fee only shortens the turnaround; it does not include editing labor. If notes, logos, music or other required materials arrive late, the delivery deadline extends accordingly.
Social media clips
Short moments made to share.
Our social clips are captioned vertical reels, typically 30–90 seconds long. Choose the moment you want clipped, or ask our team to choose one for you.
Clips cost $80 each, or $70 each when ordering five or more. The clip price covers creating the clip—no additional editing-hour purchase is needed.
Full Production
Already included in the package.
The Full Production recording package includes one hour of editing and one separate social-media clip. Purchase additional editing hours or clips only when your project needs them.
